Now in its sixth year, the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE, for short) is the largest coffee event in the Asia Pacific region, running this year from March 30 to April 1 at the Melbourne Showgrounds. With coffee professionals and industry insiders from all over the world descending on Melbourne for the event, it's no surprise that the festivities have overflown from the traditional trade show and competitions into the most highly caffeinated week of the year.
MICE is a three-day trade show anchored by the Australian Specialty Coffee Association's annual championship finals. The Barista, Latte Art, Cup Tasting, Coffee in Good Spirits and Roasters Championships will all be decided at MICE. To find out more or grab a ticket, visit MICE here.
Pro tip: if you're heading along, don't forget your Keep Cup. Free samples abound.
