Pacamara coffee varietals typically exude complex and intense aromas, with flavours that swing from sweet notes of chocolate and butterscotch to fruitier undertones reminiscent of citric, red berries, and stone fruits.

Producer Jose Armando Portillo grows Pacas and Pacamara varieties on his farm where he grows coffee for export, and for the local market. 

His coffee is hand-picked ripe at the height of the season, depulped in the afternoon, and fermented for eight hours before being washed and laid to dry on concrete patios for eight days.
