The Karinga Coffee Factory was established in 1983 and rests on 5 acres of land within Kenya’s Central Province. It is currently affiliated with the Gitwe Farmers Co-operative Society that holds a membership of 500 active farmers. The factory lies 1840m above sea level on rich red volcanic soil and experiences high biomodal rainfall with temperatures ranging between 13-24 degrees celcius.
This is a classic Kenyan washed process coffee with a juicy mouthfeel and bright, earthy flavours.
